Looking for one pair of shoes that does it all? Check out the 1211s. With supportive side bolstering and lightweight, breathable mesh, these shoes do it all. In addition to their versatility, they're an improvement on the previous 1210s - with a lower stack height, a medial post, and Stability web, they keep your feet planted during the brutal left-to-right motions of cross training. To keep you comfortable while running, they feature both N-ergy (a stabilizing outer thermoplastic rim with cushioning inside) and ACTEVA® LITE, a lightweight, hi-tech foam built to cushion and resist deformation in the long run.

Q: Is this shoe 1211 a motion control cross trainer?

Posted On: 12-03-17 By: Penny

A: Hi Penny, I would classify the 1211 as a stability cross trainer rather than a motion control. The 1211 offers extra stability in the form of the dual density medial post that you can see in the side view of the shoe (the darker grey area). Motion control is a more extreme form of stability that is located on both the inside and outside of the foot. A stability model only offers the support on the inside to discourage pronation or the foot rolling inwards. Hopefully this helps you get a better description of the shoe. Please let us know if you have any more questions. Thank you, Lauren
