Q: Hi. I hope you can help me. I suffer from plantars fasciitis, in both my feet and it has been suggested that I invest in a pair of New Balance shoes. I am confused as to which pair to buy, you have so many, could you please tell me which ones I should try. I do alot of walking and standing at work on a concrete floor....(I also walk alot when not at work) so it was suggested that I look at running shoes rather than walking shoes, because of the "extra" cushioning in the heel. ANY help would be greatly appreciated, I have heard great things about your shoes!! :-) Have a nice day, I look forward to hearing from you. Sandy

A: Hello Sandy, First off thank you for taking an interest in New Balance. We do deal with conditions very similar to what you are experiencing, and have many shoes that can accommodate your needs. Plantars Fasciitis creates a major discomfort around the heel and can lead to the base of all five toes, going into a runner I think would be best for you as runners provide the most amount of absorption when distributing weight on each stride. The shoes I recommend are the following: -http://www.newbalancevancouver.ca/womens/1080.html -http://www.newbalancevancouver.ca/womens/running/880.html I choose these for you because they are my most cushioned styles and we have had a tremendous amount of success with them. I also would like to metion New Balance has the best return policy so if you do purchase a shoe and find it isn’t meeting your needs you can return them for a 100% refund within 2 weeks of purchase. If you do happen to wear them outside you still have 30 days to exchange it or receive a store credit. Your satisfaction to us Sandy is very important so you will not be stuck with any shoes that you purchase. This allows our customers to test the shoes, as you don’t really know how they will work until you test them in your natural enviroment. If you are not able to come into any of our stores I would encourage you make the purchase on our website as its free shipping. I hope this answer's your questions but if you have any more please do not hesitate to call me and we can discuss this further. I hope you have a great day! All the best. Thanks, Alex

Q: I have fairly high arches. Would this shoe work for me?

A: Hi Nathan - yes, being a neutral cushioned shoe, this one is a good choice for high arches. The 880 is also a good option.
