Details
For those who want a little more spring in their step, the 1080v2 is New Balance's elite level neutral cushioned running shoe. A staff favourite, the 1080 offers New Balance's most comprehensive N-ERGY® cushioning package. From a leisurely walk to a grueling marathon, the 1080 offers one of our softest, most comfortable rides.
Thanks to a blown rubber forefoot with flex grooves, this shoe retains the excellent flexibility up front that has made it so popular since the 1061 thru 1064 series. Combined with a lightweight mesh upper, it's one of those shoes that you just forget that you're wearing.
New Balance's updates to the 1080 have been minor but significant. New Balance has changed the midsole foam in this shoe to its new N2 technology. This more compressed and lightweight foam allows the foot to sit lower in the shoe, creating a more natural and lower-to-the ground running experience. Down from 10.8 oz, New Balance has knocked off 0.3 oz from this trainer.
